He slips away to the places the fates have him go
The warm summer breeze turns to red autumn leaves, then to knee-deep snow
The songs of the trees and the winter's reprieve help to keep him whole
Now the birds have flown and the tall winds blow

I want to know if I'll ever surrender to love
Will I remember to honor the person that I’ve become?
